If you are visiting Lake Powell for any period of time, the only way to really “see” Lake Powell is by boat.  Sure you can take a tour boat to Rainbow Bridge, but without your own runabout boat or ski boat, you’ll miss out on all the wonderful canyons and slot canyons that make up much of the shoreline at Lake Powell.  Boating at Lake Powell is really the only way to go.  If you don’t own a boat, you can rent a boat to enjoy your Lake Powell adventure!
